Creative Hour

Make a little room for creativity. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy making art.

Maybe you’ve always wanted to try collage.

Maybe you used to make things, but life got busy.

Maybe you are an artist who simply wants to play without thinking about your “practice.”

Or maybe you just miss having something creative to look forward to.

This monthly collage experience is a simple way to make space for that.

Everything you need to begin, waiting for you.

Each month, I’ll put together a small collection of papers, textures, images and other interesting materials from my studio and my own treasure hunting.

You don’t need to spend time figuring out what to buy, searching for materials or wondering where to start.

Just open your package and begin.

Why a montly collage?

Because finding time to create is often harder than wanting to create.

You might have the ideas.

You might even have the supplies.

But after a long day, there’s always something else to do.

And when you finally have some free time, deciding what to make can be enough to stop you before you’ve even started.

A monthly kit removes some of that friction.

Everything is already there.

There is something new to explore.

And for a little while, you can step away from screens, schedules and everything that needs your attention.

You can simply make.

No experience necessary.

I’ll give you a starting point, but there is no right way to use the materials.

You can follow the prompt.

You can take it somewhere completely unexpected.

You can make something representational, abstract, simple, detailed - or just see where the materials lead you.

That’s what I love about collage.

A piece of paper, a scrap of fabric or an old image can have a life of its own, and sometimes the most interesting combinations are the ones you didn’t plan.

My own practice has always been about finding those unexpected connections between materials, memories, places and stories.

I want to share that sense of discovery with you.

What might change when you make time for this?

You may discover that an hour away from your screen makes a difference.

You may find yourself looking at ordinary materials diferently.

You may rediscover a part of your creativity that has been waiting for attention.

You may simply enjoy having something that belongs entirely to you.

And at the end, you have made something.

Something tangible. Something personal. Something that takes you back to the creative moments of your childhood.

A creative hour, delivered to your door.

No shopping. No planning. No large collection of supplies to accumulate. No pressure to produce something “good.” Just a new set of materials, a little inspiration and an invitation to see what happens.
